Roberto De Ioris
Interview date 09/28/2021Passionate about programming for as long as he can remember, he started as a system developer in UNIX environments before moving into the world of computer graphics—working across video games, simulations, and cinema. He loves coding on old systems (he has developed several emulators and development tools for now-ancient consoles) and is a strong advocate of open-source software, with over 30 projects spanning various languages and environments. He currently works as a rendering engineer at Mindesk (part of the Vection group), as a software architect at Duality Robotics, and as an engine and plugin developer for Unreal Engine with Geodesic.
